Helping The Community One Person at a Time

With this initiative, our goal is to promote positive experiences first. We start by creating a safe place for individuals to meet up and socialize. We help connect individuals to local resources and base events on the needs of the individuals in the group.

Reinforcing our Commitment

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we constantly look for new ways to deal with the disability isolation challenge. Our goal is to engage directly with our community and encourage positive interactions. From truly unique events to enhancing already structured events; we get people out and about in the community again, while also supporting the individuals accommodations needed to feel included.

Need help with your space

Are you trying to create a sensory place at home or in your business. Is organizing the last thing you want to do in your day. Have no fear. THYME and play is here. Not only are we able to help you plan out your sensory needs, we can also help in creating optimal workspaces for homeschool, quiet/sensory rooms, and Montessori-based learning. Reach out to us today so we can help you figure out what works best for your family or your organization.

We see every challenge as an opportunity. Our community development initiative helps us ensure that other partner organizations are better prepared to manage the unique situations they may face when trying to accommodate the atypical person. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community to deliver the supports as they need, when they need it in a way that grows outside of just THYME and play.

One of the biggest factors that lead to social isolation for families living with disabilities is much needed access to support equipment. This can range from adaptive items to communication devices.  In order to enable confidence in community engagement we have to first address the physical need of the basic accommodation.
